My name is Alexis Garrett and I am a graduate of Troy University and former track and field student-athlete. I received my Bachelor of Science in Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management with a minor in Leadership in July of 2020.
I currently serve as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development & Letterwinner Engagement at Rice University after serving as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student-Athlete Development and pursuing a Master of Sport Management at West Virginia University.
My career goals include working within an intercollegiate athletics department and preparing the next generation for life through their athletic ability through personal, professional, and career development programming. My other interests include spiritual development, mental-health advocacy, DEI, leadership and mentorships for young women.
